SBS Zambia uses information needed to run the app, keep accounts secure, provide learning and community features, and respond to support requests. This policy applies to the SBS Zambia Android app and web app.

Information we handle

When you use SBS Zambia, we may handle your email address, account identifier, profile name, content you upload or send, messages, referrals, learning access, and activity needed to operate and protect the service. If you make a purchase, SBS Zambia stores transaction status and references so access can be managed. Payment details entered with a payment provider are handled by that provider.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, deliver content and services, manage access, display your activity, prevent abuse, maintain security, and answer requests. Authorized staff can review reports and relevant activity when needed to support users or enforce the app's terms.

Service providers and sharing

The app uses service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, and payment processing, including Firebase, Cloudflare, and the payment provider shown during checkout. We share only the information needed for those services to work. We do not publish your private account data or sell it to advertisers.

Security and retention

We use account authentication and access controls to protect app data. We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. Some transaction, security, fraud prevention, or legal records may need to be kept after account deletion. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices and deletion

You can review your account in the app and request deletion from Profile → Delete Account. You can also use our web account deletion instructions. Account deletion removes your account and associated app data that we are able to delete, subject to the limited retention described above.

For privacy questions, use the support options in the SBS Zambia app. We may update this policy as the service changes; the current version will always appear here.
